I don’t know about you, but I have these moments in my life where random, quotable quotes slash tweet/status-worthy thoughts suddenly come into mind. Most of them are formed during idle moments like when I’m sitting on the bus or lying on my bed. I have really bad memory so as to not put these thoughts to waste, I immediately write them down. I don’t always have a pen and paper on hand however, so most of the time I just save them on my phone. Anyway, one of these thoughts happen to be the realization that nothing in this world that is worth having comes easy. There are things that will come to you eventually, but that is not always the case, as I was again reminded earlier today. I am very much aware of all the things I’m capable of doing best, but I also know that I am not using them to their full potential. I can say that I am lazy (because in reality, I am, unless I’m doing something that interests me) or that I lack motivation but overall that is just me making excuses. If you want something, you have to work for it. If you can’t find the reason to, then you probably don’t want it hard enough.

I have always been the kind of person who is game for anything. I’m all for adventure. I crave for knowledge, of learning new things, of discovering new places - going through all means just to satisfy my never ending curiosity. I find it funny though that I am as hesitant to change as much as I want to embrace it. It gets pretty confusing at times because then I wouldn’t be able to distinguish what I like from what I really like because the things I like I might be afraid of and so on and so forth, so I taught myself control. Of getting new perspectives, of learning how to go with the flow.
This is what I wore last Saturday when the family and I went on a weekend trip to the beach. I know summer is over and this was my last chance to use all my flowy tops this year (not to mention to flaunt neon pink and yellow nails!) School will be starting again for me on Monday and I’m having mixed feelings about it, mostly because it would be my last ‘first day’ of Tertiary education. Anyway, I’m about to get ready for a friend’s birthday party that will be happening in a few! It’s currently raining in our area now and I hope it will stop soon. I hope you all had a great day today! Thank you so much for dropping by! :)
