Hello! Today was an equal mix of annoying and awesome. Let me start with the annoying one. Today we were supposed to have our finals in Pharmacology. The exam was originally scheduled to be taken at 10:30am, but yesterday they moved it to 8am. I arrived at school an hour early (intentionally) because I wanted to review since I fell asleep the other night (haha!) The hours passed and there were still no signs of the papers coming in. I had a scheduled shoot for 10am the same day, by the way. By 10:30am, our batch president announced that the exam was postponed. Yes. Postponed. After these words the whole class (section 1 and section 2 were in the same room. We were supposed to take the exam together) went berserk. I mean, canceling an exam is acceptable, but who postpones finals? I can never describe the stress I went through (as well as the rest of the class) while reviewing for our finals (Tapos hello. Pharmacology pa) Anyway, maybe this is a good thing because I haven’t actually gotten to master all the chapters yet (I only covered 12 out of 15 haha) so I’ll just look at this as a blessing in disguise. I just hope it won’t be re-scheduled on the same day as our Pediatrics and Maternity finals, though. Baka maloka na ako nun! Haha!
So now let’s move on to the awesome part of my day. Today I had a shoot at UST for another online shop. I don’t have copies of the behind the scene photos yet (they’re still with my friend Dasha) so I’ll just blog about it when I do. Also, can I just say? It’s the first time in a long time since I’ve been inside UST again. I felt like a tourist! Jash and Dash were both former UST students so they were my tour guides for that day. Haha! Thank you Thea Conception of Serial Apparel for the opportunity! Thank you also to Krizia for doing my make up again. The collection will be uploaded on Monday so keep checking their page for updates! :)

Photo above taken at KFC. I went over to McDo just before we left to see my long time grade school/high school friend Emy! Hi Emy! I missed you. Next time we’ll take photos okay! :D

And to end this post, here’s a shout out to my friend Resnar Reyes (who is in Baguio right now) so that he will get me Butter Oats for pasalubong. Butter oats make me happy! Haha. That is all. Thank you for reading! :D

Hello there! In my last post, I said that I would be blogging about our trip to Batangas if I didn’t pass out. Well I did so here I am making up for yesterday’s supposed to be post! Haha! Anyway, let me take you through what happened yesterday with photos! :)

Someone from my Mama’s side of the family died. I wasn’t really supposed to go because 1. I had AM duty the next day, 2. I still haven’t recovered from the week before (PM duty and Midterms week. How I survived I do not know) and 3. because no matter how hard I try I couldn’t set my body clock back on track and ended up reading a book until I fell asleep. So anyway, the following morning my Papa went in my room to make sure I wasn’t coming with them. For some unfathomable reason I went up, showered and dressed while all the while acting (and looking) like a zombie. Sobrang antok and sabaw ko lang! I was the last one to get ready and they were in a hurry to leave, so I didn’t have the time to put make up on (let alone brush my hair!) Haha!

Fact: I can survive without brushing my hair. I can survive without putting make up on. But I cannot, I repeat, cannot survive a long road trip without bringing any food with me. I do not know how I managed to make coffee and stuff tikoy in ziplock bags in less than a minute, but you know, food does that to you. Haha! Also, I just have to say this. I love Tikoy! It was Chinese New Year yesterday so the house was full of it. I wish I could eat Tikoy all year round! :)

Another fact: I love reading books so much that I read books during the times when I’m supposed to be catching up on sleep. I’m currently rereading American Gods by Neil Gaiman. I have been rereading a lot of books recently. I’ve had these books since I cannot remember when. I think I had them when I was 15 or so. I reread books because I want a newer perspective, now that I am older. I don’t know if I’m making sense right now, but yeah. Haha! :)

So anyway, here are more photos!

Hello, Batangas!

Big Bulalo pots. I love Bulalo! It’s one of my all time favorite ulam!

When I ran out of food and when my eyes started sending “Cha stop reading we beg you!” messages to my brain, I started taking photos of the fields and the sky. This is another random thing I always do during road trips. I do not know why. I’m so weird haha!

I know this post is so full of “facts” but here’s another one: I haven’t seen the ocean in three or so years (if I remember correctly, that is) The place we went to wasn’t really one of those sandy beaches but I couldn’t help but get excited on seeing the ocean once again. My sibs and I would scream “beach!” in very annoying high pitched voices every time we see a glimpse of ocean water behind the trees and houses. Haha! First time in a long time eh. Pagbigyan! :P

Tommy and Andrei.

This was me screaming (though I doubt you can see it in the photo) when I almost got wet by the water. Please do not think I’m maarte or something. I’m really actually a cowgirl at heart and I’m game for anything. It’s just that I wore the first things I saw in my closet that day (Obvious naman diba? Tingnan niyo naman suot ko. Haha!) and I didn’t even think of bringing slippers so getting wet feet wasn’t an option. Haha! :P

By the way, please excuse the quality of the photos. I still do not have my camera with me. I only used mobile phones for these. (Hire me! I’m raising money to get my camera fixed!) :D

Dear readers, meet zombie Cha. Anyway, this was what I wore. Just got out of bed ang peg! Also, very appropriate ang outfit ko diba! Charot!

Took a photo in the street! I’ve always wanted to do this! Wala kasing masyadong dumadaan. Probinsyang probinsya! :D

Then it was time to go home. I had nothing else to do (again) so I’ll leave you with photos of the sky and sunset.

I’ll be going to sleep now! I still need to wake up early tomorrow (AM duty) I hope everyone had a great day! Good night guys! :D

Hi guys! Today was a very productive day for me! I had a photo shoot for another online store earlier. Thank you to Christopher Lee for this opportunity! You can view some behind the scene photos he took for his blog here. I will be posting some tomorrow, too. So watch out for that. Anyway, I was dead tired upon arriving home and after I removed my make up and all those things, Tommy went to my room and told me we were going out for ice cream. I was ready to fall in my bed but I’m not really someone who can say no to ice cream. Haha. So off to NLEX (Shell of Asia) we went. It’s the place nearest to us that has Dairy Queen eh. Hirap ng buhay probinsiyana! Haha.

P.S. Yes. Our dogs eat ice cream too. :P

I hope you all had a great Saturday! I shall go to sleep now. Good night! :)

January 8, 2011

Hello! So I just finished packing for tomorrow/later because I will be living the dorm life again starting Monday! Our clinical rotation for the next two weeks would be from 1pm to 11pm in SLRWH in Malabon. It will be our group’s first time to have a PM shift there since last semester our PM shift was assigned at Shalom Christian Bahay Paanakan in Antipolo. Anyway, enough of that. Here’s how my day went today! :)

First we went to the Nikon Service Center at Megamall. They told us they would be keeping my baby Nikon D90 for seven days to assess the problems, discover what parts are needed, etc. I got really depressed though since I have never parted with my camera since the day it was bought (November 21, 2010) and not to mention the fact that I need it since I started a Project 366. Anyway, I hope they’re not that busy so I can get it back sooner. I’m also praying the initial assessment won’t cost too much (I broke the LCD. Gaah!) since I would be the one paying for it. Haha!

See you in seven days baby! :*

After that we went on our way to Greenhills to eat a late lunch. My little sister and I separated from the group and went around. By some unfortunate (or fortunate) reason, we landed in front of Payless Shoe store (one of the stores I love visiting haha!) Fast forward to a few minutes later I went out with a new pair of shoes. Haha! I’ve actually been eying this pair for quite a few months already (although I originally wanted the one in Khaki, which unfortunately, ran out of stock) Nevertheless, I’m really happy with my purchase. Now I have ankle boot wedges that aren’t too high. I could definitely use them for everyday without looking like an awkward giant! Haha! :D

We went to Trinoma after because Papa had to buy some things for the house. The things above are what I got from the Hardware store. Yes. Hardware. Random fact: I love going inside hardware stores as much as I love going inside furniture and household stuff stores. Everything is just so fascinating. Anyway, can you guess what the pig and panda above is? Aside from them being my two most favorite animals in the world (!!!) they are actually measuring tapes! Super cute right? :D

So that’s it! I’m going to sleep now. Also, midterms is right around the corner. Wish me luck for both my clinical rotation and exams this week! Good night guys! :)

Growing up

Hello guys! So today I went to our local LTO branch with my Mom, cousin and my two brothers. My brother (18) and I only applied for a student’s license, though. Anyway, I was expecting the horrors my friends told me about how much of a hassle applying for a license was (long lines, hot headed people, poor service) but aside from the very inappropriate cat calls from the men around the area (which I’m used to, by the way. Hello, I walk around Cubao everyday) I think I fared really well. We had to wait four hours before getting the permits, though. :)

Ta-da! Something new to add to the things I bring with me everyday. I absolutely cannot wait to get my Professional’s license! :D

And now for the moment you’ve all been waiting for! Click through to see the winner of my giveaway with Nikita Accessories!
