A photo diary: Puerto Galera Day 2

Related post - Puerto Galera Day 1

Day 2 was the day we became tourists. Let me take you through what happened that day in photos.

We saw a helicopter on the way to our first destination. Photo-op! Haha.

Tamaraw Falls

The owner of the hotel we stayed in (also Papa’s friend) invited us over to his beachfront house for lunch. I want a beachfront house as well!

Sorry if I abused the rock formations. Haha!

Ponderosa

The amazing view

Going up the stairs to the unfinished zip line!

Henna tattoo by Red Crow Tattoo Parlor (Kuya Gab) Design by me.

If ever you’re in Puerto Galera and wanted a henna, go to them. They’re really good!

Me, having too much fun with the awesome light thing-y we bought that night.

Fact: If only I knew how to dance, I would love to become a fire dancer. Syempre kailangan may picture!

More photos of my outfit above here.

I hope you all had a great day today. Thank you for visiting and have a good night! :)

A photo diary: Puerto Galera Day 1

Hello guys! I’m posting this all the way from Puerto Galera! Anyway, I’m not going to say too much because I think the photos can speak for themselves! Let me now take you through what happened today in photos.

What I wore

Braided DIY bandeau bikini top - DIY (View how-to tutorial here) | Polka Dotted high waist shorts - Love Loca

Because I cannot resist doing this very cliché write-something-on-the-sand-then-take-a-photo thing. Haha!

My first time to get a Henna Tattoo! I kept asking Kuya Gab (naks close) questions. Imagine all the chikka that happened! I drew the design I wanted and told him to copy it. It ended up not looking the same but I still liked it nonetheless.

Love infinite-ly. Get it? :)

Neon nails! Summer kung summer!

Khendie’s neon green and neon orange nails.

Chelsea’s orchid and neon yellow nails.

My neon yellow and neon orange nails (Plus these cute bracelets I bought from the beach earlier!) I honestly didn’t mean this to be matchy matchy. Uyy, meant to be!

How was your day? Mine was been awesome. Thank you for dropping by and have a good night! :)

040612 (Prusisyon sa Baliuag 2012)

Hello! First of all, I’m really sorry if I wasn’t able to post the giveaway I mentioned on this post. I promise to publish it at 10pm later this evening. Anyway, we just got home a few hours ago from the annual procession of religious figures in Baliuag, Bulacan. I’m not really in the mood to elaborate so let me take you through what happened in photos and captions! :)

Last year’s take on this post. Link

Obligatory photo because I haven’t had cotton candy for the longest time. Cotton candy!

We arrived pretty early last year so it wasn’t as hard to find a spot to arrange ourselves in. This year however, we arrived a bit late and the place was already jampacked. We also had trouble deciding where to park because the route of the procession changes every year, thus leaving us with no idea on where to go. Thankfully, we found an empty spot. I liked our pwesto last year better though (better lighting for photos haha!) but who am I to complain right?

Tommy and me! So much change in a span of a year! Haha.

Here are now some photos from the procession. This year’s procession had a total of 93 carriages. I did not count how many carriages there were last year, though.

Pinaka-bonggang carriage of the night! Gold, pink and feathers. The Mama Mary figure was also dressed in fur. Oh diba.

The procession ended at around 10pm. We went to Shakey’s in Pulilan after for a late dinner.

Garlic bread. I love anything that has garlic in it.

Spaghetti

Chicken and Mojos

Thin crust Pepperoni pizza

And to end this post, here is the cutest Easter bunny bookmark ever! I hope you all had a wonderful Friday. Thank you for reading and have good night! :)

Hello there! I’m a happy girl for a lot of reasons today, but one of these is because I finally got hold of a copy of the March 16, 2012 issue of Philippine Star! If you don’t know why I’m being all enthusiastic about this, this post will explain everything. A huge thank you to my Tita for securing me a copy! She went all the way to Monumento and scoured all the newsstands before she found this. Yay for supportive family members! Thank you also to Anna because she offered me her copy. Sweet mo! Kilig ako! And yes. Kailangan may post para dito. First time ko kasi eh. Haha! <3

Anyway, today officially marks the start of my summer vacation! Nursing students are usually deprived of summer vacations, so please, hayaan niyo na ako magsaya! Haha.

I hope you all had a great day today! Thank you for reading! :)

021112 - Part Two

Before anything else, the title of this post should be “Missing in action” because… I’ve been missing in action! I haven’t blogged anything for five days straight. School has taken up all my time, what with duty from Monday to Wednesday and lectures for Thursdays and Fridays. Not to mention the stress we all had to go through for our oral revalida for Pharmacology. We had to memorize 60 drugs (along with their brand names, indications, contraindications, nursing considerations, etc.) and we were only given a three day head start. It was a good thing that I got to answer, though. Our professor designed it to be a fishbowl type of “game”, and since I’m never lucky with these things, I expected to pick up a drug that I either didn’t get the chance to read or haven’t mastered yet. I was lucky because I got Furosemide (Lasix), a really common drug (and the drug I’ve been hearing ever since I started nursing) So to make the long story short, I survived our orals! I’m really happy to say that the rest of my duty mates got it right too! I’m so proud of you Group 1! (Yce, pahiram ng line mo ha. Haha!)

Anyway, that is not what this post is about, so let’s move on. Haha! Remember this post? Well, this is part two. Let me now take you through what happened in photos! :)

These are my cousins. I told you I would be with little people so I’m really glad I changed into flats (lest they might run away from big old me haha)

It took a long time before the fireworks competition started, so we did what any normal family would do while waiting - eat and take photos! :D

I had my hair down when we arrived but the wind was just too much so I put it in a bun. Naka-bun na nga ako sa school, hanggang dito ba naman! :P

Mama and Papa. Sige na kayo na! :P

Jinger and Tommy. They grow up so fast!

Chelsea and Tommy. I took Tommy’s photo in this angle intentionally to make him look thinner. I showed it to him and the rest of the family afterwards. He’s still gwapo even if he’s big but it’ll be better if he slimmed down a bit. I hope this photo will help him realize it! :P

Haha look at Papa trying to photobomb!

After this, my little sister took over my camera and went on to take photos of her favorite subject - me! Haha!

Chelsea wouldn’t stop taking photos of me (that explains the same poses haha) so I made ugly faces in hope that she would stop. I’m trying to look like a rabbit here, just so you know. Haha!

Sorry ha. Sabi ko sa inyo puro pictures ginawa namin, eh!

Incomplete family picture! My little brother Kevin doesn’t really go out with us a lot, so. :P

And now the fireworks! South Korea and Malta were countries scheduled for this week. Here’s the full schedule and ticket prices if you’re planning to watch too!

  • February 11, 2012     South Korea and Malta

  • February 25, 2012     Finland and Portugal
  • March 03, 2012     China and The Netherlands
  • March 10, 2012     Australia and Canada

  • Silver (Standing) Php 100
  • Gold (Standing) Php 300
  • VIP (Free Seating) Php 500

I’m going to say sorry in advance for the sucky photos. I didn’t have a tripod and I used my knees and legs to support my camera in hopes that they will stabilize my camera enough for me to take decent photos of the fireworks. Keri naman diba? Haha! Anyway, I did take videos so I might post .gifs of these (after I figure out how to make .gifs out of videos, that is) :D

Hi there! First of all, sorry for not coming through with my promise of making a better post as said in this entry. My laptop is under construction as of the moment (I’m converting to a new OS after 189236848 years haha) I have been planning on doing so for such a long time already, and only when my hard drive left me with 0 bytes of free space (I honestly didn’t know that was possible) I finally folded. I actually do not know a lot about computers, so I have my little brother Kevin (Who is not so little. He’s taller than me now huhu) to thank! It’s really nice to have a techie in the family.

Anyway, here I am compensating (once again haha) with an outfit post! This was what I wore last Saturday when the family went to MOA. I was actually really going to wear my Jeffrey Campbell Lita inspired boots courtesy of Pomppet (Thank you!) but I was told we were going with my little cousins and since I do not want to scare them away with big old me (I have this tragic experience in one of my lectures, you see. One of our professors told us that tall people do not make ideal pediatric nurses huhu. Eh gusto ko pa naman maging Pediatrician!) so I changed into flats! Good thing I did though, because we did a lot of walking and running around. Haha. :P

Now presenting my usual lazy get-whatever-you-first-see-in-your-closet outfit. Top, shorts, statement necklace and a cover up. The combination never fails. :)

I won’t be posting this on my Lookbook, but here’s a list of where I got the items in case you’re interested in getting ones for yourself.

Floral shorts - Just G. | Statement necklace - Bedazzle Accessories | Bag - Dooney and Bourke

Oh, I didn’t get to ride the Ferris Wheel (MOA Eye) by the way. We bought tickets to watch the Third Philippine International Pyromusical Competition instead. We might go back again on the weekend, and Papa promised me I’d get to ride the Ferris Wheel then (hahaha parang bata) I will be posting what happened in my next posts, so watch out for that! :)

And to end this post, here is a sunset photo! Don’t you just love sunsets? :)

P.S. Join my ongoing giveaways if you haven’t yet! Click here, here and here. Please also check out my closet sale here. Lastly, get a chance to win 12 pairs of sneakers or 12 pairs of shoes from Christian Louboutin from Shoephoric! Click here to know how. Hurry! Contest ends in less than 30 days! Thank you!

Outfit shots taken by my little sister. It’s her birthday tomorrow (yes, she was born on Valentine’s)

Hope everyone had a great day! Good night! :D
