Hubs and Buns is an online store who specializes in personally selected vintage and brand new clothes as well as accessories. It is owned and managed by University of Santo Tomas graduates Mary Ann and Saul. They started Hubs and Buns way back in 2007 but stopped operations in 2009 due to school related activities. However, they made their way back in the online business sometime in 2010. At present, Hubs and Buns now carries chic clothes and accessories made affordable for everyone.
Here are some of my top picks from their albums. Their items sell like hotcakes and most of these are either already reserved or sold out. I’ve actually had my fair share of having a shopper’s heartbreak when someone got to buy this lovely red leather jacket before I did. I haven’t gotten over it yet (I have detachment issues haha) so if you were the lucky girl (Or guy?) who bought this, please message me if ever you want to resell! Anyway, if you don’t want to experience the same thing I did, you better be fast or else someone might get the item before you do! :P
Moving on, Hubs and Buns sent me a floral skirt (view the outfit post here) and a pair of lovely high waist peach shorts some weeks ago. What I love about their shop is that you can never tell whether the items are brand new or vintage. I also love the fact that all of their items are personally handpicked by Mary Ann, which only proves her amazing sense of style (Ang ganda lang ng collections nila guys) What’s even more amazing though is their price range! Their tops, dresses and bottoms go from 300php to 330php while the blazers and jackets go from 350php to 450php. Hubs and Buns interact with their customers a lot too. Want a certain item but can’t find it anywhere? Comment here and they will try their best to find it for you. Now that’s what I call customer service. But the best part is yet to come (Oo, mayroon pa) Hubs and Buns don’t only offer quality and affordable clothes and accessories (Feather earrings for only 80php anyone?) but they also help the environment as well. They use recycled paper to wrap their items before shipping. Now tell me if that doesn’t deserve a round of applause! :)
