January 8, 2011

Hello! So I just finished packing for tomorrow/later because I will be living the dorm life again starting Monday! Our clinical rotation for the next two weeks would be from 1pm to 11pm in SLRWH in Malabon. It will be our group’s first time to have a PM shift there since last semester our PM shift was assigned at Shalom Christian Bahay Paanakan in Antipolo. Anyway, enough of that. Here’s how my day went today! :)

First we went to the Nikon Service Center at Megamall. They told us they would be keeping my baby Nikon D90 for seven days to assess the problems, discover what parts are needed, etc. I got really depressed though since I have never parted with my camera since the day it was bought (November 21, 2010) and not to mention the fact that I need it since I started a Project 366. Anyway, I hope they’re not that busy so I can get it back sooner. I’m also praying the initial assessment won’t cost too much (I broke the LCD. Gaah!) since I would be the one paying for it. Haha!

See you in seven days baby! :*

After that we went on our way to Greenhills to eat a late lunch. My little sister and I separated from the group and went around. By some unfortunate (or fortunate) reason, we landed in front of Payless Shoe store (one of the stores I love visiting haha!) Fast forward to a few minutes later I went out with a new pair of shoes. Haha! I’ve actually been eying this pair for quite a few months already (although I originally wanted the one in Khaki, which unfortunately, ran out of stock) Nevertheless, I’m really happy with my purchase. Now I have ankle boot wedges that aren’t too high. I could definitely use them for everyday without looking like an awkward giant! Haha! :D

We went to Trinoma after because Papa had to buy some things for the house. The things above are what I got from the Hardware store. Yes. Hardware. Random fact: I love going inside hardware stores as much as I love going inside furniture and household stuff stores. Everything is just so fascinating. Anyway, can you guess what the pig and panda above is? Aside from them being my two most favorite animals in the world (!!!) they are actually measuring tapes! Super cute right? :D

So that’s it! I’m going to sleep now. Also, midterms is right around the corner. Wish me luck for both my clinical rotation and exams this week! Good night guys! :)
