If you have been a reader of my blog for a long time already, you now would have known that I am an avid online shopper. I rarely go to a physical store to shop nowadays (mostly because of my busy schedule and lack of time) and so I resorted to my long time love - online shopping. Come the hundreds of online shops sprouting everyday like mushrooms, one would find it very hard to choose which shop to go to. I myself never had this dilemma since I have been in this for some years already. But for some people, this is a daunting task. That is why I am sharing with you guys another online shop that I came to love. Every time I visit Nikita Accessories, I can’t help but feel this stir in my heart. I do not have a word for it yet, but I know it’s there. It is there every single time. So I have decided to call it magic. Yes, magic. Nikita Accessories is nothing but magic.

Nikita Accessories is owned and managed by designer slash artist Nike Nadal. Nike has been selling online since 2008. Her shop, Nikita Accessories is a collection of unique designs of handmade jewelry & accessories, incorporating crochet with other jewelry-making media. When asked to describe her shop, Nike answered:
Nikita Accessories is about combining current trends in jewelry & accessory design with the rather traditional craft of crochet—kind of like combining old with the new—and creating something fresh and different. Nikita Accessories is inevitably, of course, also an expression of my personal design taste and style.

What made you start your shop?
I started only as a hobbyist, working only with run-of-the-mill beads and charms. Soon after I started beading, I thought I might as well turn my hobby into an income-generating activity. I opened a Multiply shop, but immediately learned that there were already quite a number of online shops selling beaded jewelry and accessories. I wanted to offer something different, something that has not yet been seen over the local Multiply market, at least. I then decided to incorporate crochet into my craft. This was influenced by my mom, who has been into crochet and knitting for years already. My mixed-media jewelry-making style somehow caught on, and Nikita Accessories was born. Since then, I have been exploring the potentials of crochet in making jewelry and accessories.

There is just so many reasons why I love Nikita Accessories. From their lovely product photos, neat layout to the dainty handmade crafts they offer. You better be quick on your feet, though. Because she almost never repeats designs. Also, you never have to worry about breaking your wallet either! Her items go from 125php (bow rings) to 450-480php (one of a kind pieces) If you’re not the online shopper type, she has some items up for sale over at Café Antonio in Los Banos. Nike also said she would soon be moving her items to Quezon City, so be sure to watch out for that! :)

So anyway, here are some of my favorites from Nike’s creations. These are actually about half of her products. Everything is just so lovely and I cannot help imagining how these can be the perfect Christmas gifts. Brace yourself for some eye candy! Are you ready? :D
