One of the many factors I put into consideration whenever I shop for clothes is mileage. I was never brand conscious, and I wear whatever I think looks good on me and things I’m comfortable in. But most of all, I almost always go for pieces that I could use over and over again. If you’ve been a reader of my blog for a long time now, you would have notice how much I love mixing and matching. This dress is the perfect example. I wore this backwards and treated it as a top here, and I used it again last Sunday when I went to a christening of a childhood friend’s baby. If you were to present me with all the colors of this dress a few months back and made me choose one, I would never pick up the white one (because it’s a color I associate with my school uniforms!) but ever since summer started, white has quickly become one of my favorite colors. I finished the look with gold accessories such as my arm candies from Oohlala Monster and these lovely metallic sandals I got from Zevrina. I can tell, these sandals will be overused! Oh, and did you notice my iPhone case? It’s just one of the many interchangeable prints sent to me by Crazy Styler. Now I can match my phone with my outfits too!

Anyway, today has been pretty benign. I did some layout work, did an inspirational doodle on the front page of my notebook for the coming school year (my last year in college!) and took videos of our little puppies. I also started practicing how to apply eyeshadow, mainly because a friend nagged me into it (Haha!) but also because I think that even if you’re a person who doesn’t really wear a lot of make up (e.g. me) it’s still important that you know how to. Knowing is always better than not knowing, after all. It’s also currently my ‘summer break’ and I have at least two weeks vacation before school starts again. I can’t believe I’m already on my fourth year. I’m pretty anxious about what is yet to come (because I was never the type of person who looks too far into the future) but I’m excited all the same. It’s quite unsettling though that I’m still not sure of what I want to do with my life at the moment (I know!!!) but then again, maybe it’s because I haven’t fully explored all the things I am capable of yet. Time will tell, I guess. :)
