FILED! Topnotch

“charleneajose”

School may be over for me (well, for now, at least!) but for all you students and young professionals out there, I have news for you! FILED, a leader of organization, style, and innovation, has come up with TopNotch - a campaign that aims to turn a jam packed school/workday into a fun, stylish and an overall more organized experience.

“charleneajose”

Some weeks ago, my little sister Chelsea and I were invited by FILED to witness their campaign as well as the introduction of the latest roster of their brand ambassadors over tea and pastries at The Royal Picadilly

Here I am posing at their photo wall. Don’t you just love how they have every product color imaginable for every personality? No one will get left out!

We were also introduced to some of their products, with the help of FILED’s brand ambassadors!

The File Folder - I have this personally and I must say this is the most ultimate folder of all the ultimate folders, what with the spacious pockets, the detachable mesh pencil case and six different types of fillers and all!

“charleneajose”

Keeper Folder - If you’re like me who has tons of handouts from lectures, then this folder is perfect for you! It has 10-compartments in an accordion like system. You don’t have to worry about lugging it around also, because it comes with a detachable shoulder strap! Now why didn’t these exist when I was still in school…

Carrier Folder - Now, if I were a FILED product, I would be a Carrier Folder, only because it is so many things all at the same time! It can function as a school bag, a documents keeper, a laptop bag, and can be carried as a backpack, shoulder bag, or hand bag. Can you count how many commas I just use in that previous sentence? Haha!

Each table was given a Picadilly Circus Tea Set. I was never the Tea person, but I am now! And don’t even get me started on their scones. I still dream about them sometimes…

Now it’s your turn to get some goodies from FILED! Head on over to my giveaway and you just might be the lucky winner of a Pen Roller and Shift Notes notebook!

Thank you so much to FILED and The Royal Picadilly for having us! We had so much fun! Until the next! :)

10 Reasons Why You Should #NeverDateABlogger

This is what I wore some weeks ago to FILED’s Top Notch event then Lee Philippines’ Anniversary show after. On a more interesting note, this was also the outfit I was wearing when the idea of this blog post came into mind, a moment that was caught on camera to forever serve as a reminder as to why you should #NeverDateABlogger

1. Every single thing is potential blog material. My bestfriend just made a funny! Let me screenshot this and broadcast it to the world. Oh look, a leaf just fell! Let me write about life and how even the best fall down sometimes. Wow that’s a great quote! Allow me to note that down in case I get to use it in a post. Why? BECAUSE Y NOT?

2. They like making listings and Top 10 anythings, which isn’t at all bad, unless it annoys you.

3. Sucky internet connection makes them cranky. They like spots with decent phone signal. Extra points if the place has a free WiFi logo (AKA our favorite symbol in the world!)

4. They will write about you. Repeating this for emphasis in case you missed the point I was trying to make on reason number 1. You will be given aliases, you will be the subject of open letters, of cheesy posts, and the inspiration behind all those patama tweets. No matter how good or bad the relationship went, or if a relationship was ever established in the first place, you will be written about.

5. You will wind up being their photographer one way or the other, which is a good thing for others, especially if photography is actually one of your hobbies, or better yet, your profession, but it’s usually a drag for most.

6. They have way too many feels, and these feels need to be expressed, these feels need to be written. These feels are also very competitive and will always vie for the blogger’s attention, and sorry to say that in the event this happens, feels will come first. Feels always come first.

7. They like making up hashtags, #UsuallyTheLongTypes, #and #actually #use #them #in #sentences #HashtagsOrHashbrowns #YouDecide

8. You can never start eating until after they finish taking #instafood photos for instagram, AKA 50 or so photos of the same subject with very minute differences in angles of whatever foodstuff you have in front of you at the moment. If you like hot meals, stay away. Stay very far away.

9. They are usually all over the place, most probably because blogging isn’t the only thing they do. One moment you’ll find that they’re in an event, mingling with fellow bloggers and talking about stuff bloggers talk about, or at a press conference six hours away from you, or more commonly, finding them locked up in their rooms - furiously typing away at their laptops, self-critiquing their work, hitting the delete button countless of times, and editing whatever that’s left. If you can keep up with that, then good for you.

10. A Eureka moment can happen anytime, and bloggers will do anything to preserve that moment when it comes. Don’t think they enjoy hurting your eyes whenever they take out their phones with the brightness amped up to 100% at the movies to take down notes. It just can’t be helped.

Disclaimer: This post does not intend to generalize all bloggers, to lessen the date-ability of bloggers, or keep the said population from getting into successful relationships.

To be honest, I think bloggers are one of the most interesting people to date.

But then again, how would I know? I’ve never actually dated one.
